CoVantage Credit Union Enlists Services of D. Hilton Associates to Search for Chief Financial Officer

The Woodlands, Texas (January 2019) – CoVantage Credit Union, headquartered in Antigo, WI, has an outstanding opportunity for a talented, strategic executive to join their team in the role of Chief Financial Officer.


Reporting directly to the President/CEO and working in collaboration with the Board of Directors and senior management this individual will be responsible for leading, directing, and executing the credit union’s internal and external financial affairs. Other duties include; establishing policies, budget preparation, income forecasts, and financial objectives for the credit union; serving as Investment Officer, and along with senior management, participating in developing and implementing the strategic plan; working with auditors and examiners, ensuring all accounting activities are compliant with all state and federal rules and regulations. A comprehensive understanding of GAAP and financial principles for a financial institution, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline, and a minimum of 5 years’ senior financial management experience in a successful entity is required. MBA, CPA, CFA or advanced finance/accounting degree preferred.
