Vice President of Human Resources

Position Summary

Credit Union of Colorado, is seeking a Human Resources leader to join our team as Vice President of Human Resources. This key position will oversee the strategic leadership of the organization’s HR and training functions. The responsibilities of this role include the development and execution of people-related strategies, supporting the Credit Union’s strategic direction, and overall business plan. People operations include workforce and succession planning, compensation, recruiting, retention, employee relations, legal issues, and employment compliance. Training functions will focus on organizational development, performance management, talent management, learning and development, and DEI. A Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience and education is required; a Masters degree in a related field is preferred. Professional credentials such as SHRM or HRCI is required. Fifteen years of progressive experience in strategic planning and human resource management, with a minimum of five years at the executive level is required. Experience interacting with leadership Boards is required.
