Chief Technology Officer

Position Summary

San Francisco Fire Credit Union is seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Chief Technology Officer to join its executive team and lead the organization’s technology strategy, operations, and digital transformation. The CTO will develop and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap that supports organizational growth, operational excellence, and an exceptional member experience. Working closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams, this leader will establish annual technology priorities, strategies, and budgets; advance automation and scalable digital solutions; and ensure the Credit Union’s infrastructure and systems remain secure, reliable, resilient, and compliant.

The CTO will monitor emerging technologies, strengthen cybersecurity and business continuity, manage technology risk, cultivate key vendor and technology-partner relationships, and foster a culture of innovation throughout the organization. A bachelor’s degree and at least ten years of progressive technology leadership experience within a financial institution are required. Experience leading technology strategy and transformation within a complex and growing financial institution is strongly preferred, along with advanced information-security certifications.

Compensation

 A comprehensive compensation package will be offered to the selected candidate. The targeted range for the base salary of the Chief Technology Officer is approximately $200,000 to $285,000.
