The Woodlands, Texas (July 2019) – Sierra Central Credit Union, headquartered in Yuba City, CA, is in search of a talented individual to fill the role of Vice President of Leadership and Development.

Reporting to the CEO, this position will plan, develop, acquire, and implement learning and development programs throughout the credit union to create a culture that inspires those employed at the credit union to reach higher levels of performance. Must have an ability to translate organizational goals and needs, conduct training assessments, and create learning plans designed to enhance functional and professional skills, career development, people management, and leadership development skills to support an exceptional member experience. This self-motivated individual will work closely with the executive management team to continuously offer programs to help build the next generation of leaders. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in organizational communication in leadership and employee development, with three to five years experience in training related positions and direct field experience in the retail banking or retail lending environment is preferred.
