Reliant Community Federal Credit Union Enlists Services of D. Hilton Associates to Search for Vice President of Lending

The Woodlands, Texas (May 2019) – Reliant Community Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Sodus, NY, is looking for a strategic leader to join the credit union in the role of Vice President of Lending.

 

This position will lead the Consumer/Home Equity, Mortgage, and Business Lending teams. Responsibilities include efficient and quality delivery of loan origination, underwriting, closing, and servicing activities; growing the loan portfolio according to the credit union’s overall business plan while maintaining focus on strategic levels of risk; and implementing sound internal controls to protect loan assets. Other duties include the formulation, development, implementation, and administration of loan policies; contributing to the development of credit union business plans and goals as they relate to lending; directing activities assigned to departmental managers and staff; providing leadership to ensure appropriate development of staff; and representing the credit union in the local and business community. The ideal candidate will understand and enhance the culture of the credit union by living and promoting the brand, leading by example, providing quality service, and striving to exceed service expectations. A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field is required; MBA a plus. Minimum of ten years of progressive lending experience in a managerial role needed.
