The Woodlands, Texas (October 2019) – OnPath Federal Credit Union, the new name of ASI Federal Credit Union effective October 2019, headquartered in New Orleans, LA, is in search of a President/CEO to guide this 58-year old financial institution’s future growth in the greater New Orleans area.

The credit union serves a diverse membership as a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and Community Development Credit Union (CDCU). The ideal candidate should be strategic and innovative, with a proven track record of leadership. OnPath FCU is seeking a leader to promote its mission “to be financial advocates for our members and the communities we serve” in pursuit of a vision of “improved quality of life through financial empowerment.” The incoming executive should have a working knowledge of all significant aspects of credit unions, as well as all regulations that apply to federally chartered credit unions. He/she will collaborate with the Board of Directors and the executive staff to ensure the credit union remains financially sound and achieves its strategic initiatives. He/she must possess strength in problem solving and team building, coupled with effective verbal and written communications skills and the ability to promote the credit union’s brand within the community. Candidates must have at least five years of senior level credit union management experience. A bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minimum of 18 hours in accounting, or a related degree, such as finance, with 18 hours of accounting is desirable.
