The Woodlands, Texas (October 2019) – Island Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Hauppauge, NY, is looking for a senior executive to join their team in the role of Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer.

Reporting to the CEO, this position will lead growth strategies in all aspects of lending operations; Residential Real Estate, Consumer Lending, and Commercial Lending; maintain policies, practices, and procedures, while upholding a high degree of member experience and satisfaction. Other responsibilities include contributing to the development and achievement of the credit union’s strategic plan, new business generation, loan portfolio management, driving organizational lending strategy and building out a Commercial Lending Department. The ideal candidate will exhibit excellent leadership and teambuilding skills. A bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent relevant work experience are required. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of progressive management and underwriting experience, as well as experience in business lending.
