Delaware State Police Federal Credit Union Names New Vice President of Lending

GEORGETOWN, DELAWARE (July 2019) Delaware State Police Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce the selection of Daniel Bass as the credit union’s new Vice President of Lending.

 

“Daniel’s unique background of experience within the financial services industry combined with his 11 years of law enforcement made him an ideal candidate to fill the role of Vice President of Lending at DSPFCU.  We are thrilled to welcome him onboard and excited to see what he brings to the role,” said Ina Fitch, President & CEO.

 

Bass comes to Delaware State Police Federal Credit Union from First Tech Federal Credit Union of San Jose, California where he held the role of Director of Consumer Lending.  Prior to his time at First Tech Federal Credit Union he held the roles of Vice President of Consumer Lending at First Home Bank, and Director of Consumer Lending at 121 Financial Credit Union.  He has also worked for TD Bank and Edward Jones.  Before embarking on a career within the financial services industry, Bass served as a Law Enforcement Officer for 11 years. Bass holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and Exceptional Education from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida.

 

When asked about his new position, Daniel stated, “This is a very unique opportunity for me to continue my financial services career at a credit union that serves the law enforcement and protective services community.  I am honored to accept this role and begin serving the membership of this truly exceptional organization.”
