Apple Federal Credit Union Enlists Services of D. Hilton Associates to Search for Chief People Officer

The Woodlands, Texas (March 2019) – Apple Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Fairfax, VA, is searching for an experienced Human Resources executive to join their team as Chief People Officer.
 
Reporting to the CEO, this role will be responsible for the development and execution of departmental strategy in support of organization strategy and goals, specifically in the areas of culture management, succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and total rewards. Other duties include: directing the credit union’s People and Culture and Talent Management functions by developing and implementing strategies to recruit, retain, and develop the organization’s talent and culture to ensure competitiveness; advising management on matters related to compensation, benefits, employee relations, and people implications, along with developing, implementing, and interpreting general employment policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws. This position will also provide strategic leadership by articulating human capital management needs and plans to the executive management team and the Board of Directors. A Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in HR Management, Organization Development or related field, plus minimum 15 years Human Resources experience at a management level is required. Masters and/or SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred.
