Chief Financial Officer
Position Summary
Telhio Credit Union is seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive team. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the CFO will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the credit union’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, asset liability management, investment oversight, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. As a key advisor to the CEO, the CFO will play a critical role in shaping Telhio’s strategic direction and supporting its continued growth and stability. The ideal candidate will bring best practices to the department and proven experience in building and leading high-performing teams. Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities are essential, as the CFO will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders, including the Board of Directors, auditors, regulators, other financial institutions, and third-party vendors. Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree, with advanced degrees or certifications strongly preferred. A minimum of ten years of executive experience in the credit union or retail banking industry is required.
