The Westin is located in a walkable dining and shopping district. The hotel also has restaurants and a Starbucks located on the premises.
The Woodlands is a major suburb of Houston, Texas, which has two major airports in proximity:
- Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH, for United and other air carriers), about 25-30 minutes from The Woodlands
- Houston Hobby Airport (HOU, Southwest Airlines), about an hour from The Woodlands
D. Hilton recommends using a taxi, airport shuttle, or ride-sharing service to get to The Westin hotel in lieu of renting a vehicle, unless you intend to lengthen your stay in the area beyond the Symposium dates. Reduced parking rates are available for those attendees who drive.
