Vice President of Human Resources
Position Summary
A financial institution with assets under $500 million is seeking an experienced executive leader to serve as Vice President of Human Resources. This role provides strategic oversight of the organization’s human resources function and partners closely with senior leadership to support a strong, compliant, and people-centered workplace.
- Provide strategic leadership and overall direction for the Human Resources function
- Serve as a trusted advisor and partner to the CEO and executive leadership team
- Oversee talent acquisition, workforce planning, and leadership development
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Lead employee relations, performance management, and employee engagement efforts
- Direct compensation, benefits, and total rewards strategy
- Build, develop, and lead a high-performing HR team
- Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture aligned with organizational goals
- Align HR strategies and initiatives with the institution’s long-term business objectives
Qualifications include at least 10 years of progressive human resources experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree and professional HR certifications are preferred.
This position will be on-site, and no relocation will be offered. Candidates must live in Northwest Indiana.

Compensation
A comprehensive compensation package will be offered to the selected candidate. The base salary range for this role is $115,000 – 135,000 per year.
