Vice President of Fraud & Authentication

Position Summary

Community First Credit Union is seeking a highly experienced executive to serve as Vice President of Fraud & Authentication. Reporting to the SVP of Payments, Fraud & Authentication, this role provides enterprise-wide leadership, strategy, and governance for fraud prevention, identity authentication, and Bank Secrecy Act programs. The position is responsible for protecting the credit union and its members by preventing, detecting, and mitigating fraudulent activity while ensuring full regulatory compliance. The VP also serves as the primary liaison on fraud-related matters with executive leadership, the Board (as applicable), auditors, regulators, and law enforcement, and promotes a culture of prevention, timely detection, and disciplined case management across all delivery channels. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of progressive experience in fraud prevention, financial crimes, or related risk functions within a financial institution, including enterprise-level program accountability. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; CFE, CFCS, or similar certifications are preferred.
