The Woodlands, Texas (March 2017) – The Executive Recruiting Department at D. Hilton Associates is seeking a VP of  Finance to join the team at Texas Bay Credit Union.
Reporting directly to the EVP, this position will be responsible for directing, planning, and organizing the fiscal functions of the credit union in accordance with GAAP, other regulatory and advisory organizations, and in accordance with financial  management techniques and practices appropriate within the credit union industry. Other responsibilities include: establishing  major economic and financial objectives and policies for the credit union, and overseeing the Accounting,  Collections, Support, and Card Services departments. This position will also collaborate with the Executive Team in planning  credit union growth and coordinating the strategic plan with the development of fiscal functions. The successful candidate  must have experience in investment and hedge funding strategies as well as using different types of funding and pricing  methods to promote continued growth for the credit union. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a  related field is required with 3 years’ experience in management in a financial institution with a proven track record of success.  CPA is required, MBA preferred.
