ORLANDO, FLORIDA–(July 2016) In light of the recent retirement of their former CEO, Orlando Federal Credit Union (Orlando FCU) is pleased to announce that their Chief Financial Officer, Suzanne Weinstein, will be assuming the role of Chief Executive Officer.
 
“With over 15 years of service to the credit union as CFO, there is no better suited or deserving candidate to fill the role of our CEO. We have the utmost confidence in her ability, as she has proven during her time here and we look forward to the future of the credit union under her leadership,” said Charles Metcalf, Chairperson of the Board of Directors.
 
Prior to her time at Orlando FCU, Suzanne invested 14 years with Fairwinds Credit Union of Orlando, Florida. Suzanne began her time there as a Staff Accountant, progressing to Senior Accountant, Management Accountant and concluded her last years there as Financial Manager. In addition to her experience at Fairwinds Credit Union, Suzanne also worked with Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union of Tampa, Florida. Suzanne attended the University of Central Florida, where she obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration, Finance and a Masters of Business Administration. Suzanne also completed the Certified Financial Planner Program at University of Central Florida and holds the Chief Executive Certification from The CUES Institute.
 
When asked about her recent promotion, Suzanne stated, “I am beyond excited to be given the opportunity to serve as CEO. Throughout the years that I have been a part of this institution, it has become a very special place to me and it’s a huge honor to be given this responsibility.”
