The Woodlands, Texas (August 2018) – Democracy Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Alexandria, VA, has an exceptional opportunity for a talented executive to fill the role of Vice President of Administration.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Vice President of Administration will be responsible for the overall leadership of Marketing, Business Development, E-Services, and Information Technology departments. The ideal candidate will be a skilled influencer who can motivate, encourage and inspire a highly effective and efficient team. Working as a collaborative leader, the VP of Administration will guide others through change and adversity with ease, even when tough decisions are necessary. He or she will be charged with ensuring the progress and success of goals and budgets, as well as maintaining accountability. Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal regulations and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are imperative for this role. A minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of progressive leadership experience in credit union/bank operations and a Bachelor’s degree are required.
