The Woodlands, Texas (September 2018) – Democracy Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Alexandria, VA, is seeking its next President/Chief Executive Officer to guide the credit union into the future.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO is responsible for the full range of business activities including policy development, staffing, budget, operations, planning, and reporting, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Together with the Board he/she will work on the establishment and execution of major goals and objectives and financial stability commensurate with the best interests of the members, the employees, and organization as a whole. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, as well as demonstrated success in leadership, organization growth, succession planning, and Board relationship experience. Ten (10) years of management experience in bank and/or credit union operations and Bachelor’s degree required.
