Deere Employees Credit Union Hires D. Hilton Associates to Search for Vice President of Wealth Management

The Woodlands, Texas (July, 2017) – D. Hilton Associates’ Executive Recruiting Team is searching for a VP of Wealth Management who can manage the Investment and Retirement Services program and ensure its compliance with required laws and regulations.
 
Reporting to the President/CEO, the ideal candidate will carry out practice management and development initiatives by providing client on-boarding assistance, training, mentoring, planning, and appraisal performance reviews. While establishing and enforcing the policies and procedures of the credit union, this individual will maintain a structure of requirements for their fee-based business by addressing client needs regarding Retirement, Estate, Insurance, and Investment Planning. Duties include performing presentations at seminars or similar events along with maintaining on-going relationships with clients, centers of influence, CPAs, and attorneys. This position will be integral in maintaining rapport with individuals who can help carry out the program’s vision and goals while implementing strategic tactics in regards to helping staff understand trust, insurance, and brokerage services. The chosen candidate will also ensure the growth of the program within the credit union’s current market based on market size and share along with expanding the program outside the current market. Candidates must have a minimum of 6 years of success in sales leadership within the financial industry. A Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a brokerage operation or financial institution investment program is required. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, MBA preferred. Required securities licenses include Series 7, both Series 63 and 65 OR Series 66, Series 24, Life & Health, CFP or ChFC.
