D. Hilton Associates Hired by Chartway Federal Credit Union to Conduct Search For Vice President of Finance and Accounting
The Woodlands, Texas (January, 2018) – Chartway Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Virginia Beach, VA, is seeking a dedicated financial executive to fill the role of Vice President of Finance and Accounting.
Reporting directly to the CFO, this role holds responsibilities such as; leading and managing the credit union’s controller, accounting, and finance functions; preparing, presenting, and interpreting financial reports to management and the Board of Directors; effectively managing the budgeting process; and providing value added analysis of the credit union’s investments, asset and liability position, and credit quality. Other duties include; developing adequate procedures to provide the basis for management decisions and counseling management on fiscal control and the profitability of operations. Bachelor’s degree and CPA required. Approximately 10+ years in a strategic finance or accounting role with at least 3+ years of proven experience in the financial services industry required. Experience in a multi-state organization is a plus.
