The Woodlands, Texas (January, 2017) – Cardinal Credit Union is seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Lending Officer to oversee and monitor the Lending function while delivering outstanding service to members.
Reporting to the CEO, this executive will properly communicate directions clearly and assist with employee development and growth. This position requires strong collaboration with multiple departments and staff and also being able to establish good relationships with clients and vendors. The ideal candidate will stay wellinformed with trends and changes within the industry and participate in strategic planning while ensuring all loan programs are used efficiently to assist with the goals of the Credit Union. The ideal candidate also must have robust interpersonal and management skills, as well as demonstrate excellent communication and diplomacy skills. A Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of seven years of progressive lending experience is required. Must have strong supervisory skills as well as be organized and perform in a multi-task environment.
