Argent Credit Union Announces New President/Chief Executive Officer

CHESTERFIELD, VIRGINIA – (January 2019) Argent Credit Union is pleased to announce the selection of Jamie Asciolla as the credit union’s new President and Chief Executive Officer.

 

“We are thrilled to welcome Jamie to Argent Credit Union. He has an impressive and diverse background and will no doubt lead Argent Credit Union onto even greater things,” said Gary Miller, Board Chair.  Miller also commended current CEO, Rose Baggerly, for her service to Argent Credit Union, “On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Rose for her leadership and commitment to our members over the past 40 years.  We wish Rose all the best for her retirement and every success for everything that lies ahead.”

 

Asciolla comes to Argent Credit Union with over 20 years of experience in the credit union industry.  He is joining Argent Credit Union from 1st Advantage Federal Credit Union in Yorktown, Virginia where he held the role of Chief Operating Officer since 2012.  Asciolla has a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Maryland in Adelphi, Maryland.

 

When asked about his new position, Jamie stated, “I am excited to join such a fantastic organization and honored that I have been chosen for this role.  I am looking forward to meeting the rest of the team and serving the membership of Argent Credit Union.”
