The Woodlands, Texas (January 2019) – Air Force Federal Credit Union, headquartered in San Antonio, TX, is in search of an exceptional leader to join the executive team as the SVP of Lending/Chief Lending Officer.

As the SVP of Lending/CLO, this individual will help develop growth strategies and carry out the strategic goals in all facets of lending including consumer loans, commercial loans, indirect loans, and residential mortgages. The ideal candidate will research the latest lending trends along with implementing tactics to maximize loan retention. This individual will lead their team to promote high levels of services by choosing the latest products and services that align with the credit union’s vision. Duties include interpreting and implementing lending policies and procedures, conducting market analysis to monitor market activities to produce competitive rates, and maintaining communication between staff and the loan department to ensure all lending efforts are being met in a timely manner. A minimum of five years in a senior management role with experience in commercial, mortgage, and consumer lending is required. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or a related field of study. Master’s degree preferred.
