Modesto is geographically at California’s heart. The city reflects the warmth of its rich history and kind-hearted people. With a population nearing 210,000, Modesto has transformed into one of the largest cities in California. The community is proud of its residents, great traditions, educational opportunities, and multicultural lifestyles. Blessed with mild weather year-round and some of the world’s richest soil, this part of California’s Central Valley, which stretches 300 miles through the center of the state, offers the diversity and facilities of a metropolitan city, but still maintains an atmosphere of old-fashioned hospitality. West of the valley and over the coastal mountain range lies the San Francisco Bay Area. Eastward are the foothills that lead to the majestic Sierra Nevada mountain range and Yosemite National Park. In 2020, the city of Modesto celebrated its sesquicentennial – 150th anniversary. Several historical landmarks remain well preserved in town, now sitting side by side with new additions, such as the Gallo Center for the Arts, Vintage Faire Mall and modern medical centers.
An excellent competitive compensation package will be offered to the selected candidate.
