Chief Operations Officer
University of Kentucky Federal Credit Union (UKFCU) is in need of a well-rounded executive to join their team in the role of Chief Operations Officer. This position’s primary purpose is to provide strategic leadership for the administrative and operational divisions of the credit union in order to provide a superior member experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic direction and oversight of the Human Resources, IT, Marketing, Member Experience, Project Management, Risk Management, and Compliance operations of the credit union. This role will create and execute long range strategies to ensure effective policies, procedure, and practices are implemented in each division in order to achieve the credit union’s goals. Advanced degree with a focus in Business Administration, Information Technology, Management, Marketing, or related field, along with 10 to 15 years experience, with a minimum of 5 years supervising high performing teams is required.
In January of 1937, a group of Agriculture College Employees from the University of Kentucky decided to form a credit union that would provide themselves and their co-workers with a better place to save and borrow money.
