Ketchikan, Alaska is often called “Alaska’s First City” because it’s the first major community travelers come to as they take the Inside Passage north. A major cruise destination, Ketchikan welcomes a million cruise passengers from May to September each year. Ketchikan is built on steep hillsides and is billed as the salmon capital of the world. Today, Ketchikan is Alaska’s fourth largest city. Ketchikan offers many historic sites, a museum, Native cultural exhibits, Totem pole parks, fish hatcheries, historic Creek Street, fine dining, and world class shopping. The breathtaking beauty of Ketchikan’s landscape brings many people back again and again; but if that isn’t enough, being Alaska’s Native Cultural Center and sport fishing capital surely will.
An excellent competitive compensation package will be offered to the selected candidate.
