Position Summary
State Employees Credit Union (SECU) is searching for a visionary executive to lead the credit union as President/Chief Executive Officer. Collaborating with the Board of Directors, this executive will be responsible for guiding the credit union to provide outstanding service to the membership. This executive will provide overall direction and leadership, while ensuring financial stability commensurate with the best interest of the members and staff. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership and motivational skills, including community leadership involvement as well as possess the ability to build consensus while leading organizational change and transition. An understanding and respect for the diversity and local culture is a necessity. A Bachelors degree, preferably in Business Administration or related field and a minimum of ten years executive experience within the credit union field or retail banking industry is required.
