President/Chief Executive Officer

Position Summary
Shipbuilders Credit Union is looking for an accomplished executive to be its next President/Chief Executive Officer. Collaborating with the Board of Directors, the President/CEO will build upon the vision, mission, and values of the credit union that to best serve the needs of its membership. This role will be responsible for providing strategic direction, vision, and leadership throughout the organization, while focusing on financial stability, member and employee satisfaction, and growing the credit union into the future. Other duties include representing the credit union to regulatory agencies, community and civic organizations, trade associations, and other financial institutions. A bachelor’s degree is required, advanced degree preferred. Ten or more years progressive management experience in the financial services industry with at least five years of senior or executive experience required. Credit union industry knowledge preferred.
