President/Chief Executive Officer
Section 705 Federal Credit Union is currently searching for their next President/CEO to drive the organization into the future. The CEO will work with the Board of Directors to establish strategic plans, goals, and objectives. He or she will be charged with leading the credit union towards achieving those goals, maintaining and enhancing financial strength, and with ensuring conformance with all applicable state and federal laws. The ideal candidate will be a skilled leader who can motivate, impart vision, build consensus, and drive organizational growth while sustaining superior member service. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required. The candidate must have at least seven years of executive leadership experience within the credit union or retail banking industries.
Section 705 Federal Credit Union, a full-service credit union, serves nearly 3,700 members with assets over $32 million. The credit union began in 1968 in Crowley, Louisiana serving United States Postal Employees in the 705 zip code. The members of the credit union are made up of employees of various businesses within the Acadiana area who have become partners (or Select Employee Groups) with the Section 705 Federal Credit Union.
