Senior Vice President, Controller
San Diego County Credit Union is in search of a talented executive to fill the role of Senior Vice President, Controller. Reporting to the EVP/Chief Financial Officer, this candidate will perform all duties and responsibilities for the Financial Accounting Department. Duties include financial reporting and analysis, general ledger reconciliations, and the implementation of sound internal controls. This individual will perform accounting practices to ensure operating and financial statements are accurate, and must be knowledgeable regarding all policies and regulations required within the scope of job duties, including AML/BSA compliance, and maintain quality service standards set by the organization. The successful candidate will foster a positive work environment for employee empowerment by providing guidance, leadership, and coaching to department staff. A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with at least five years of demonstrated leadership, coupled with professional experience supervising key activities within a depository financial institution’s Accounting Department, is required; active CPA license preferred.
