Position Summary
Raiz Federal Credit Union is in search of an experienced, finance executive to join their team as a Chief Financial Officer. Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Administration, this role is responsible for directing, coordinating, maintaining, and controlling an accounting system that properly reflects the financial position of the Credit Union. The CFO monitors the Accounting Department’s policies and procedures and recommends improvements. Functions as a member of the Senior Management Team, participates in establishing and implementing major goals and objectives of the Credit Union serving as a resource in all aspects of accounting. This position oversees budgeting, general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, risk management, asset and liability management, capital expenditures, and the investment of Credit Union assets. A Bachelor’s degree is required. Master’s degree preferred; CPA preferred. Minimum of 10 years of progressive management experience within the financial services industry, last three years in a senior or executive management position. Previous credit union experience is a plus. Extensive knowledge of procedures, policies, and generally accepted accounting principles.
