President/Chief Executive Officer
Pacific Service Credit Union is in search of an experienced, strategic leader to fill the role of President/Chief Executive Officer. This individual should have a proven track record as a CEO or senior management team member along with a strong business and financial background. Collaborating with the Board of Directors, this position will be responsible for refining the strategic direction of the credit union, ensuring the short and long-term health and competitiveness of the credit union, establishing a strong community presence, and delivering outstanding and innovative member service. A Master’s degree and/or at least ten years of progressive management experience in a credit union industry context, with at least five years in a senior management position, is preferred. Strong knowledge of the West Coast’s economic climate is highly desirable.
Pacific Service Credit Union, founded in 1936 by employees of Pacific Gas & Electric Company, is a full-service credit union with assets over $1 billion and a field of membership that incorporates 12 Northern California counties. Bauer Financial, a third-party firm that analyzes the financial health of banks and credit unions, constantly awards Pacific Service Credit Union with its highest 5-star rating. The credit union boasts a talented, cohesive leadership team with an average of more than 11 years of service in the credit union. In 2018, the credit union ranked 80th for corporate philanthropy by the San Francisco Business Times, joining a handful of companies that donate more than 1% of their net earnings to charities located in the communities they serve.
