President/Chief Executive Officer
Kirtland Federal Credit Union (KFCU) has begun searching for an inspired executive to lead the credit union as its new President/Chief Executive Officer. The essential functions of this role include but are not limited to: Guiding and coaching the credit union’s staff, personnel, and volunteers to provide the highest quality financial products and member service. Directing all credit union operations, establishing a perpetual focus on product and service improvements, maintaining and strengthening the credit union’s financial position, enhancing operational efficiencies, and protecting the security of KFCU members and their data. Initiating, directing, and overseeing all approved strategic initiatives, including programs, mergers, joint ventures, business acquisitions, and/or the purchase/sale of major assets. All of these functions are expected to be communicated and achieved in conjunction with the credit union’s Board of Directors. The new CEO must be proficient at communicating with external organizations, such as regulatory agencies and field of membership leaders. This position may participate on the Boards of external community and industry organizations with the consent of the KFCU Board of Directors. Other duties will be assigned by the Board as circumstances deem appropriate. The ideal candidate has demonstrated analytical skills, experience in building a culture of execution, is growth-oriented, and is committed to KFCU’s vision, mission, and strategic objectives. A minimum of 10 years of proven successes in senior management roles in financial services is required – credit union or banking industries are preferred. A Bachelor’s degree is required, an advanced degree is preferred.
