President/Chief Executive Officer
HOMEBASE Credit Union is seeking its next President/Chief Executive Officer to lead the credit union into the future. Working in partnership with the Board of Directors, the CEO is responsible for the full range of business activities including policy development, staffing, budget, operations, planning, and reporting, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Collaborating with the Board he/she will work on the establishment and execution of major goals and objectives and financial stability corresponding with the best interests of the members, the employees, and the organization as a whole. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, as well as demonstrated success in leadership, organization growth, succession planning, and Board relationship experience. Ten (10) years of management experience in bank and/or credit union operations and a Bachelor’s degree is required.
HOMEBASE Credit Union, has a rich history of positively impacting the lives of generations of families. The credit union began in 1952, as a savings and loan service for Fort Lee employees and their immediate families. Over the years, the credit union increased their product selection and expanded their service areas. In 2006, Fort Lee FCU opened its doors to the Tri-Cities area, allowing the credit union to provide affordable financial solutions not only to Fort Lee, but to residents and workers in communities surrounding the installation.
