Internal Auditor

Position Summary
Gulf Winds Credit Union is looking for an Internal Auditor to join their team. This position will provide an independent assessment of management’s responsibility for the credit union’s assets and compliance with local, state, and national regulatory authorities. In addition, the Internal Auditor is to perform independent appraisals on all aspects of the credit union’s operations and internal controls to ensure that established policies and procedures are followed, operational, and financial standards are met, and resources are used economically and efficiently. A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required, along with a CPA or CIA designation. A minimum of 5 years’ auditing experience in a financial institution, along with auditing, accounting, and financial institution operations is required. Supervisory experience preferred.
