Chief Financial Officer

Position Summary
GFA Federal Credit Union is in search of an experienced financial executive to join its team. The Chief Financial Officer will oversee the areas of accounting, treasury, finance, investments, cash management, fidelity bond, property and liability insurance and wire transfer functions, striving for results and excellence in all areas of responsibility. This individual will be a member of GFA’s executive team and will bring leadership and innovation, while remaining at the forefront of the credit union’s financials. The successful candidate will have an instinctive approach to management, while engaging and working with an experienced team. This individual must possess exceptional ALM knowledge and have strong project management skills. They will develop and implement long-range strategic plans to address the evolving needs of the organization and its members. A minimum of seven to ten years executive experience in a complex bank or credit union with subsidiaries/CUSOs and having assets over $500MM. Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree and/or CPA and/or CMA credentials preferred.

Gardner, Massachusetts, established in 1785, is a quiet city located 60 miles northwest of Boston and the home of GFA FCU’s recently expanded 26,000 square foot headquarters.
