Vice President of Human Resources
First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union has an exciting opportunity for an experienced executive to join their senior management team as the Vice President of Human Resources. Reporting to the President/CEO, this individual will be responsible for the strategic direction of the credit union’s HR function as it strives to become an employer of choice. The VP will have two direct reports who will oversee employee relations and engagement, talent acquisition, total rewards, including recognition and wellness programs, HR compliance and reporting, as well as organizational development and integrated talent management. This individual will lead our efforts to improve the employee experience and drive a culture of continuing learning and improvement, owning programs that help us ensure we are living our values as part of the rollout of the new mission, vision and values. This role needs to champion cultural transformation and help us build a high-performing, member-centric and inclusive culture of innovation to create a “best places to work” environment. This VP must help us achieve our strategic goals and our mission of “empowering the pursuit of financial happiness.”
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial services, policies, regulations, and compliance with State and Federal regulations. Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business-related field, along with a minimum of three or more years of senior leadership experience and ten or more years of human resource experience is required. MBA, SPHR and/or SHRM-SCP certifications strongly preferred.
