Vice President of Finance
Essential Federal Credit Union is searching for a finance executive to join their team as Vice President of Finance. This role will oversee the Finance, Accounting, and Treasury functions and help to create the financial strategy of the credit union. Other duties include; develop, implement, and maintain finance related systems; timely and accurate preparation of financial, management, regulatory, and tax related agency reports; annual budget development and ongoing variance analysis. This position will coordinate the daily operations of the finance functions, oversee the secondary market activities and ensure all activities are aligned with liquidity, interest rate risk, and income objectives of the credit union. The successful candidate will serve as a member of the ALCO and oversee preparation of ALM reports and trends. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership and motivational skills, be a team builder, and help the credit union build upon its continued success. A Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or related field from an accredited college is required. CPA certificate or Masters degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or closely related field is preferred.
