Position Summary
EFCU Financial Credit Union is searching for an exceptional executive to lead the credit union in the role of President/Chief Executive Officer. Teaming up with the Board of Directors, this executive will be responsible for executing the overall goals and objectives as laid out in the strategic plan, maintaining the credit union’s financial health and stability, and ensuring excellent member service while conforming with all laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will be innovative, exhibit inspirational leadership skills, and be membership and growth oriented. A bachelor’s degree is required, an advanced degree is preferred. A minimum of ten years of executive experience within the credit union field.

Over the last decade, EFCU Financial has been the fastest growing credit union in Louisiana, tripling in asset size. The credit union is on course to eclipse $1B in assets in 2023. In 2022, EFCU Financial added more than 11,800 new members, and surpassed goal for automobile and mortgage loans by more than $115M. Loan-to-share ratio was 100% in 2022. Member Solutions (collections) consistently has the lowest net charge off rate compared with all other credit unions in the State.
