Director of Risk Management
Diamond Credit Union is searching for a detail oriented financial services executive to fill the role of Director of Risk Management. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, this individual will establish and direct the functions of the credit union’s risk management group including internal audit, fraud prevention, compliance, business continuity, and vendor management. Together, this group is focused on transactional and compliance risk of the organization. They are also responsible for ensuring the other components of enterprise risk management are being assessed on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will have experience with risk management program development and will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. A Bachelors Degree is required, along with a minimum of five years’ experience. A knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements associated with finance, credit union, or banking industry is desired. Experience conducting risk assessments and/or internal audits preferred.
Diamond Credit Union was originally organized in 1947 to serve the employees of Spicer Manufacturing Company in Pottstown, PA.
