Chief Information Officer

Position Summary
Dade County Federal Credit Union is in search of a dedicated IT executive to join their team in the role of Chief Information Officer. Reporting to the CEO, this position will be responsible for oversight of the IT department, lead and support the technical infrastructure used in daily functions at the credit union, and participate in business planning and innovation. This individual will work closely with other businesses to drive change and solve operational and workflow issues. The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, superior analytical skills, with results oriented management abilities. A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from an accredited university is highly preferred, along with a minimum of five years experience managing people in an IT environment.

Established in 1939, a group of ten Dade County employees had a dream to help others financially so they pooled together $135 in an old cigar box, signed a certificate of origination, and formed the Dade County Employees Credit Union. In 1994, the credit union became federally chartered and changed the name to Dade County Federal Credit Union and has grown to over $775 million in assets. Today, the credit union offers many products and services with eleven convenient locations to serve its members. Their mission is to deliver the highest level of service by providing solutions to their members’ financial needs. At Dade County FCU, the members always have and always will come first. Membership is offered to anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in Miami-Dade County.
