Chief Human Resource Officer
Chartway Federal Credit Union is seeking a talented HR executive to join their senior leadership team as Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO). The CHRO is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, including its practices and operations to position Chartway as the first choice for financial services in its target markets. The role of the CHRO is to take the lead on creating people practices and service delivery strategies, enhance organizational decision-making, and lay the foundation for organic growth in all aspects of the business. The CHRO reports directly to the President & CEO and is a member of both the Corporate Planning and Strategic Planning executive forums. As a senior executive with great breadth, the CHRO will collaborate in the formation of business strategy and facilitate a confluence of organizational capabilities and people competencies to create a Leadership Brand that directly supports the business strategy. In doing so, the CHRO will engage in a consultative and collaborative relationship with the CEO, and partner closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Information Officer, and other senior leaders to shape organizational strategies, team experiences, and member experiences that drive and elevate the organizational strategy. A Bachelors Degree in business administration or related field along with at least ten years in a senior HR leadership role in a growth-oriented, consumer-based organization is required. Master’s Degree in business or industrial/organizational psychology preferred.
