President/Chief Executive Officer
Capital Credit Union is seeking a seasoned executive to guide the credit union as the President/Chief Executive Officer. This person will be charged with upholding the credit union’s mission of “Doing the Right Thing” by overseeing all aspects of credit union operations, including, but not limited to, carrying out the policies and procedures as set forth by the Board of Directors, leading the credit union toward its set goals in growth, service, and membership, and ensuring the safety and soundness of the assets of the credit union. They will also be overseeing the development, education, and welfare of all employees; ensuring that members receive the best possible service; and promoting and devising strategies to support the mission statement of Capital Credit Union. The ideal candidate will have an open and collaborative management style, along with strong business and financial acumen. Seven to ten years of upper management experience in a financial institution coupled with a Bachelor’s Degree is required. Master’s Degree preferred.
Capital Credit Union traces its roots back to two organizations, Pioneer Credit Union, the first credit union in the area, chartered in 1927, and Kimberly Credit Union, established in 1934. From there, both credit unions grew in their own way, before merging in 2014 and becoming the Capital Credit Union of today, with $2 billion in assets and over 130,000 members. Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, or attends school in Brown, Calumet, Door, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Marinette, Menominee, Oconto, Outagamie, Shawano, Waupaca, or Winnebago counties, as well as their immediate family members.
