President/Chief Executive Officer
Advantis Credit Union is searching for an accomplished leader with at least 15 years of senior management experience in the credit union or banking industry to take over the role of President/Chief Executive Oﬃcer. This individual will be responsible for the entirety of the credit union’s operations and staﬀ, ensuring optimal financial performance and compliance with all government/legal requirements. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will facilitate communication between the Board and Advantis management, staﬀ, and members. He/she will exercise vision and leadership by developing an eﬀective strategic plan that emphasizes member service and demonstrate initiative by aggressively pursuing the agreed- upon goals. In addition, the CEO will perform other tasks and duties appropriate to the position as assigned by the Board of Directors. Bachelor’s degree is required, advanced degree in a related field is desired.
Advantis Credit Union began in 1928 when a group of 36 employees joined together to create a financial cooperative with the core purpose to help members find security and success in their financial lives. Today, Advantis is Oregon’s 6th largest credit union, serving over 76,000 members with assets over $1.5 billion.
