Position Summary
BECU has an exciting opportunity for a strategic business partner and leader who can exhibit professional expertise in all areas of human resources and talent management as the Vice President of Human Resources and Performance and Development. This position will serve and be instrumental in leading and directing all activities which will include: recruiting and on-boarding, performance management, total rewards, training & development, internal communications, legal requirements associated with employment and employee relations. Community Profile
Tukwila whose name in local Native American dialect means "land where the hazelnuts grow" encompasses single and multi-family residences, heavy and light manufacturing, and service-oriented companies. It is also one of Northwest's largest concentrations of retail businesses. Tukwila incorporated as a city in 1908. Since that time, the city has continued to grow and flourish as a center of commerce for South King County. Tukwila’s location at the confluence of rivers, freeways and railroads has determined its destiny as a local leader in retail/commercial sales, warehousing and distribution of goods, and manufacturing. Compensation
A compensation package consisting of base salary, incentive and benefits will be offered to the selected candidate.
Degree Required
Minimum of five (5) + years experience in human resource and learning and development, with seven (7) to ten (10) years preferred. BA/BS required, Masters degree desired. SPHR, CCP/CBP a plus.
