Position Summary
First Community Credit Union is offering an exceptional opportunity for a visionary and seasoned leader to become the next Chief Executive Officer. The incoming chief executive must have the innate ability to implement the Board’s strategic vision and goals as well as continue to provide a known presence in the communities the credit union currently serves. Successful candidates should have superior competency in financial management, IT services, alternative delivery channels, operations management and motivational/team building skills. Minimum of five to seven years related experience in an executive management role with increased responsibilities within the financial services industry needed. Bachelor’s degree required, higher credentials preferred.

First Community Credit Union (FCCU) is a community based credit union, which covers approximately a third of the state, serving over 30,000 members with over $300 million in assets. FCCU’s mission is to provide individualized financial solutions for its members through competitive products and well-trained and empowered employees. This past year, FCCU was honored with the Louise Herring Award at the state level, as well as receiving an honorable mention nationally, for its credit counseling services and its application of the philosophy and trademark of the credit union movement. FCCU also won the Desjardins Award, which is a regional award given for its involvement in local educational programs throughout North Dakota. Community Profile
Jamestown, North Dakota was founded in 1872 and is the seventh largest city in North Dakota. Jamestown has the ideal balance of mid-western style and genuine hospitality that makes it a growing destination for convention meetings, corporate events, and leisure travel. It is a very friendly town that offers a variety of recreational opportunities from summer activities, which includes; fishing, hunting, and golfing, and winter activities, such as; ice fishing, snowmobiling, and cross country skiing. Jamestown is also home to the World's Largest Buffalo and the National Buffalo Museum and is a city that is rich in history, heritage and time honored traditions with a treasure trove of historic places. The city's cultural life is focused around Jamestown College, which is a private liberal arts college and the Jamestown Arts Center in downtown Jamestown, a home-grown art gallery and performance space that showcases regional visual arts and local performers. Jamestown also has a Civic Center that hosts concerts, college basketball games, other large events, and the North Dakota Sports Hall of Fame. Jamestown Reservoir is located two miles from town and provides sweeping views of undeveloped prairie and wooded draws. Facilities at Jamestown Reservoir include seven boat ramps at various locations for water sports, numerous picnic areas complete with tables and shelters, two swimming beaches and two campgrounds.

Compensation
A compensation package consisting of base salary, incentive and benefits will be offered to the selected candidate.

Bachelor’s degree required, higher credentials preferred.
