Position Summary
PrimeWay Federal Credit Union is seeking a President/Chief Executive Officer to provide leadership and direction related to the organizational activities of the credit union. This individual will be responsible in achieving the credit union’s strategic initiatives and long-term growth based upon the needs of the membership by providing innovative enhancements and the development of new service delivery systems. Must be an excellent problem-solver, possess strong human relations and organizational skills coupled with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

PrimeWay Federal Credit Union was organized in April 1937 as Houston Telephone Federal Credit Union to serve the employees of Southwestern Bell in the Houston area. In April 2003, the name was officially changed to PrimeWay Federal Credit Union. The name change was prompted by credit union growth and diversification of membership. In December 2003, PrimeWay Federal Credit Union embarked on another merger, and welcomed Washington County Community Development Federal Credit Union members into their family, which opened membership to everyone in Washington County and provided the credit union an office in Brenham, Texas. In January of 2004, the National Credit Union Administration granted PrimeWay Federal Credit Union a community charter allowing them to serve not only their select employer groups, but enabling them to provide a better financial alternative to everyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in the City of Houston. PrimeWay Federal Credit Union has six locations in Houston, one in Brenham, and 1,300 Shared Service Centers in the nation. With assets of $270 million, PrimeWay Federal Credit Union works to fulfill their mission of creating financial strength each day by providing the best possible service, offer the highest quality products, and engage in ongoing financial counseling and education programs for their over 36,000 members. Compensation
A compensation package consisting of base salary, incentive and benefits will be offered to the selected candidate.
Degree Required
Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred. A minimum of ten (10) years executive management experience within the financial services industry a must.
