Position Summary
Woodlands Credit Union, located in Berlin, New Hampshire, is in search of an experienced financial executive to fill the newly created position of Chief Financial Officer. This individual will assume the role of leading the organization’s financial and regulatory reporting function. Primary duties include: budgeting, general ledger, financial statement preparation, asset liability management, investments and profitability measurement. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for preparation of tax filings, product analysis, cost accounting and risk management, including contract management and oversight of insurance policies. The President/CEO will also rely on this individual to work closely with both the internal and external auditing processes and as part of the senior management strategic planning team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in a managerial role overseeing accounting and finance for a financial institution, a fundamental understanding of ALM, cost accounting, pricing, strategic planning and risk management. A solid foundation in financial systems and four year college degree is required.

Community Profile
Berlin is a city along the Androscoggin River in Coos County in northern New Hampshire. Located on the edge of the White Mountains, the city's boundaries extend into the White Mountain National Forest. Berlin was chartered in 1771 as Maynesborough but it was not settled until 1821. It was renamed for the city of Berlin (then in Prussia) in 1829. Just minutes from the picturesque presidential mountain range, including Mount Washington, the highest peak in the northeast, Berlin is an outdoor enthusiast’s paradise. Outdoor activities include hiking, biking, kayaking, fishing, four-wheeling, snowmobiling and skiing. Compensation
A compensation package consisting of base salary, incentive and benefits will be offered to the selected candidate.

Degree Required
A solid foundation in financial systems and four year college degree is required.
